CII’s Young Indians (Yi) is a movement for Indian Youth to converge, lead, co-create and influence India’s future. Formed in 2002, Yi has a growing, inclusive membership with over 3200 direct members in 50 chapters, and 29500 students YUVA members from colleges. Yi membership includes young entrepreneurs, professionals and achievers from different walks of life. Through impactful projects and activities under “Youth Leadership”, “Nation Building” and “Thought Leadership”, Yi hopes to emerge as a premier Indian Youth Organization and play an important role in Nation Building. Yi is one of the proud founders of the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Alliance (G20) & CAYE- Asia Pacific.

About Yi International

Young Indians International (Yi-I) is a platform to connect young global Indians living overseas to India; whether someone who wants to "give back" to India or learn from India or connect to the youth of India.

Young Indians (Yi), a movement for Indian Youth to converge, lead, co-create and influence India's future is an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Formed in the year 2002, Yi has created a platform for young Indians to work towards realizing a dream of a developed nation. It has a growing, inclusive membership across all geographies and demographics with over 3900 direct members between the age group of 21-45 years and comprises of entrepreneurs, professionals across 55 chapters pan-India and Yi stakeholders which include 30,000 YUVA college students; 2,80,000+ school children and 92 rural communities across the country to engage in initiatives and activities focused on Nation Building, Youth Leadership and Thought Leadership. Yi is a unique platform for young minds to influence and lead positive change with the conviction "We Can, We Will".

Who can be an International Member?

Any Young Indian living overseas can join the Yi movement and contribute to the three pillars of Yi – Nation Building, Youth Leadership and Thought Leadership.

Membership is open to Indian passport holders residing overseas, NRIs, OCIs/ PIOs only
Membership eligibility age 21 – 40 years
A member retiring age 45 years

Services

All international members upon joining Yi will be affiliated to one of Yi's 50+ city chapters across India of their choosing.
International members will become a virtual member of any ONE Yi Chapter across the Yi Chapter network in India
When in India, the international member can join the home chapter activities and the cross- chapter activities open to all Yi members
