Innovation is organising IDS 1.0 - An Initiative for Innovation" with the goal of promoting innovation and create an impact with an actionable solution towards nation building. IDS 1.0 is committed to promote innovative mindset and solving the problems across the nation and create impact towards the greater good.


It is a flagship event to promote innovation across 55 chapters of Yi pan India with Yi members, Yuva members in collaboration with the Yi verticals, educational institutes, and other industries to ensure proper mentorship and commitment towards innovative solutions.


IDS will focus on the solutions that are

  • Relevant
  • Impactful
  • Actionable
  • Creative


The participation is open to

  • Yi Members
  • Yuva Members
  • Aspiring Yuva institutes (Upon request)

The event is divided into three phases and is spread across 4-5 months


  • Imagine - Imagine will be performed at Yi Chapter level and all the teams will be participating in it.
  • Do - Do will be performed at the Yi Regional level and all winning teams from each chapter will progress to participate in phase Share.
  • Share - Share will be performed at the Yi National level and all the winning teams from each region will progress to participate in the final round. The teams participating in the final round will be presenting their final pitch to the Yi Entrepreneurship and Yi Angels team and will win a chance to get funded by the investors for the further progression or win a cash prize.
