Young Indians (Yi) is a movement for Indian Youth to converge, lead, co-create and influence India's future. As an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation playing a proactive role in India's development process.
Yi Bengaluru has been active in organizing impactful projects and activities divided primarily into three areas; "Youth Leadership", "Nation Building" and "Thought Leadership". Under Youth Leadership, we bridge the gap between college, schools and the industry via conducting various session on skills, innovation and entrepreneurship. Through Vertical like Masoom (Child Safety) , Road Safety, Accessibility & Inclusion, Organ Donation we have been contributing on Nation Building and Thought Leadership on Climate & Environment, Accessibility influencing various stakeholders has been timely decided and act on.
This year, the Bengaluru chapter has some proud achievements, COVID initiatives impacting about 300,000+ lives, through food distribution, funds and installation of 6 PSA Plants and a quick turn one-stop resource portal www.blrforhumanity.com , Over 100 Social impact initiatives focussing on Child Safety, Climate & Environment, Road Safety, Accessibility & Inclusion, Organ Donation, CII Innovation Summit - Hackathon for Future of Health spanning colleges across India - in partnership with Apollo Hospitals and GE Health and 10th CII Yi Bengaluru Entrepreneurship Summit conducted in the last week of November.
The Annual Day is a milestone on the Yi Calendar to celebrate these accomplishments and welcome new leadership for the coming term of 2022. The event will be graced by the Yi National & Regional Leadership, CII Chairman of Karnataka, and other peer leaders.
